Dating apps are ten to the dozen, dating apps that actually match you based your individual personality are rare, if not non-existent. PlayDate aims to fill that void by capturing a persons personality, not by answering multiple choice questions, but by letting you create them. Everyone loves quizzes, and everyone loves winning. Playdate lets you do both.
Familar Functionality
The brief was to create both a brand and app design that was both easy to use and fun. Users create their own quiz consisting of multiple questions. The questions are completely up to the user, as are the answers. If a suitor passes your test the match is complete and you can begin chatting. The task was to create a brand and interface that is familiar, clean, but incorporates the most useful functionality of other similar applications without being bloated.
